| | | pollyparrotistalking | 07-29-2012 10:10 AM | 2nd stealth account opened and no selling limits well i have gone and opened another one last night.
i listed something that i found in the back of the cupboard, got a bid on it yesterday.
then today though i would list another random item, and no selling limits at all,.
i suppose i should be happy but i find it very strange.
what do you think??? cheers |
| chase1623 | 07-29-2012 01:14 PM | I was just going to post a thread about this, same thing just happened to me. I didn't know if that was a good thing or bad thing, but seems good so far. |
| pollyparrotistalking | 07-29-2012 01:55 PM | yeah defo lets hope it continues to be good, all i need now is my first sale and paypal not to hold the money for 21 days |
| First Edition | 07-29-2012 02:12 PM | All accounts have selling limits. Period. |

Just because your limits are not shown... it doesn't mean they are not there!
eBay can switch the feature on (So you can see how much of your selling allowance you have used when you call them. |
| TheSkyInYourEye | 07-29-2012 02:49 PM | Not true. I had one of my accounts like this and sold hundreds of items in a month sometime down the line and there were seemingly no limits to attend to with it. It was bliss |
| ZoonVoo | 07-29-2012 02:51 PM | i just tried and i did not have any selling limits too :clap::clap::clap: |

Which one is it?
:noidea: |
| LoopHole | 07-29-2012 10:12 PM | I agree. Every account has a limit. Limits vary from category/item/price. How lucky you get is up the person who decides these. You may not see your item/$ limit but i am sure it is there. I have an account, actually a few who are like these. I can sell as many low risk items as i wish. But other high risk items. There are limits. Just because you see your dashboard and no limits are shown doesn't mean you don't have limits. You may not have limits for certain categories. But for others, you best bet you do. They are just hidden. |

It's nice to see such enthusiasm. I noticed you used words like "had" and "was". All accounts have limits. If you don't understand that, you will with time. |
| Stigger | 07-30-2012 08:29 AM | try list one item for a millon quid, if it gets to the last page before you submit, then you have no limits. |

| newjerseymax | 08-02-2012 12:27 AM | I recently sold on a no limit account over 10k in the first month. So anything is possible. The account is still going strong. |
| First Edition | 08-02-2012 12:38 AM | I heard about something like that once. That must have been awesome to be able to sell 10k in a month...
I've heard stories... rumors mostly.
Accounts like that did exist.
PowerSellers.
Perfect feedback
Perfect DSR's
Amazing customer service
free shipping
fast shipping
And then one day....
BAM!
Accounts like those were limited...
And then... there was hope. A guide. the stealth guide. And a forum dedicated to suspended ebay accounts and limited paypals.
Honestly, what makes you think your account has no selling limits? :bored: |

:brick: | my mistake there must be limits on it :noidea: |
| First Edition | 08-02-2012 10:38 AM | I bet the first account you ever made ever had no selling limits.... so why are you here? And if that account has no selling limits, why would you bother selling on others? At some point, the account will have a limit. |
| Elijah | 08-02-2012 11:33 AM | I just got another no limit account today. Whenever I get one, I list the sh*t out of it, since they may apply limits on it the next day...
I have scheduled 400 auctions on it today. |

why dont wall mart only have 1 store ???? :boink: |
| First Edition | 08-02-2012 12:29 PM | I'm being sarcastic.... If your account has no selling limits, I mean truly no limits, why would you bother with other accounts that are not linked? |
| they_screwed_me_too | 08-02-2012 12:49 PM | it has no limits
i bother with other accounts because at any point in the future ebay can pull the plug for any number of reasons
also i sell from 10 accoutns as its 10 times the exposure and potentially 10 times the income |
| First Edition | 08-02-2012 01:24 PM | You're really missing my point... I'm sure you think you can sell an unlimited number of items on the account, but the reality is you cannot. |
| they_screwed_me_too | 08-02-2012 01:30 PM | 6000 items seems pretty limitless in my opinion
oh hang on i might have an invisible limit of 6001 items
i see your point............
do you see mine ?
you are wrong, hard to believe but true
just because you say its so, doesnt mean its so |
Lots of valid points here. No selling limits for the life of the account is more like it. List 10000 items this month, limited next day, week, or year would be the limit of the account.
I personally love having 100 10/$500 accounts vs 1 no limit account. To me 10/$500 accounts are no limits because there isn't a limit to stop making & selling on them. Also less likely to get suspended asked for docs ssn etc. Just keep on selling. What will you do when that 1 no limit account goes down? Probably start selling on a 10/$500 account. |

just because you say its so, doesnt mean its so | It is clearly a matter of opinion.... you never thought your first account would be suspended, but here you are, on the world center of ebay suspensions. I never said you were wrong. It's just naive to think an account is bulletproof. It reminds me of people wanting to buy accounts with no selling limits... :fight: |
| they_screwed_me_too | 08-02-2012 02:22 PM | i never said an account is bullet proof did i ?
for the record my first ebay account got suspended cos i made too much money too quickly and spent it on cars and drugs and didnt post customers stuff out in good time and i got suspended....simple
you said all accounts have limits.period
DID YOU SAY THAT ?
yes you did
not true
i have one
your wrong, totally 100% wrong (and a bit more)
It is NOT clearly a matter of opinion, it is a FACT and facts are indisputable:bored: |
| First Edition | 08-02-2012 02:24 PM | But all accounts DO have limits. |

| First Edition | 08-02-2012 03:02 PM | I opened another thread so we can dook it out there. :) |
| they_screwed_me_too | 08-02-2012 04:34 PM | happy days :thumb: |
| slokor | 08-02-2012 07:15 PM | Link to the new thread please - Im enjoying the back and forth banter. |
| slokor | 08-02-2012 07:17 PM | By the way - my two cents about this:
I prefer to open an account with 10/500 limit and call in and sweettalk ebay to lifting the limit to 100/5000 over opening a 'no limits' account randomly that might get hit with limits later. The lifted limits accounts already underwent a review for those higher limits which in my opinion makes it that much stronger in the long run. |
| First Edition | 08-02-2012 08:47 PM | |
Many accounts have to be built up over time. |
