Ordered something off aliexpress supplier taking a week to ship?
 

Is it normal for suppliers to take a week to ship? I keep asking him when hes gonna ship and he keeps saying "today".

And I clicked "request order cancellation" thingy today anyone has experiences with this? Its not just that he took a week to ship its the fact he keeps lying about when hes gonna ship; kinda got pissed off and dont wanna do business with him anymore, the loot was pretty costly just wanna know when or if im gonna get my money back =x

Hi, these sellers on there are pretty long..I wouldn't get worried. I've had the same thing with some basic products like 4-5 days to even ship. Whats their shipping time state for processing? it normally states it. I would message the user again and tell him if he doesn't ship the item today your going to cancel the order. If he doesn't respond again, cancel it.
If you need any help contact aliexpress support/customer team they are pretty good normally. And as for your money, I believe if am correct all aliexpress/alibaba payments are escrow protected so he's a idiot anyway as he won't see 1 dime till you actually release the funds to him, and you actually have the manual option to do this..

yes i agree with money.. I order from AliExpress and have never had any problems.. They move slow, very slow..

You are protected under escrow, so no worries..

The usual reason for slow dispatch is that most of these sellers do not in fact possess any stock of their own. When you place an order with them, they then place it with the factory. Depending on stock levels / how busy the factory is, depends on how quickly your supplier gets the goods & then subsequently ships.

Expect further possible delays during the shipping process due to customs.

4-5 days only, I have 1 supplier that takes 2 weeks to ship anything. The reason is factory related.

But I dont care, i have used this supplier for over 6 months now and always comes through. I am still waiting on 2 parcels from him/her.
