This is probably a very silly question...

But ill ask it anyway as I am confused.

I have an account with 100 items/£3500 limit per month.

what happens if i listed 100 items starting at 1p but they went up with bidding to £100 each?

Way past the £3500...

Is £3500 the maximum selling figure or the maximum listing value?

Your allowance left is shown at the top of the selling page and goes down with each completed sale..

So from that I'd guess that as soon you reach your limit maybe the other listings are somehow blocked? i.e. It is the maximum selling value.

Sure someone else will know for certain from experience..

All listings will complete normally regardless of your limits.
The only thing you cannot do is post BIN auctions that surpass your $$$ amount limit. If you start regular auctions that went above your selling limit they end regularly.
Note that AFTER those auctions have ended surpassing your limits you will not be allowed to post NEW auctions for the rest of the month.
