Can PP request to link bank account ?

I know you have to link CC and later on bank account on UK PayPal but how about Swedens ? Ive linked my CC but ive seen you can also ad bank account.

So my my question is if I get some crazy amount of lets say 10k€ at once and account gets limited (of course), they usualy rewuest photo ID, address proof, CC statement and such crap but can they require to link bank account ?

Is UK the only EU country that requires bank account confirmation ?

All Ebay accounts across the board require Bank Confirmation.

Im talking about PP only not ebay and last time I checked only one UK stealth account I own requires bank linkage to raise limits and stuff. All others pass'd with VCC easily
