Prepaid Cards that accept load by bacs/wages!?
 

Hi, a quick question for anyone who might knows...

A number of the prepaid cards accept top-up by bacs and some you can get your wages paid straight onto the card.

This can often be the last 8 digits of the card number being your bacs accout number (unique) and the card provider will give you a sort code so you have your own unique account number and a sort code for incoming bacs (much like a bank) or sometimes...

The bacs/bank account number and sort code is the same for everyone with that card and you will have an account number, used as a reference for the incoming bacs (like an old skool savings).

I was wondering has anyone tried withdrawing to a card that accepts wages/bacs and used the numbers they get to 'look like' a bank account on paypal...

And also if you skipped the first two small verification deposits from paypal, waited until you had £10 to add a bank account then withdrew the £10 would that verify!?

You cannot withdraw p/p funds to a prepaid card in the UK, and no skipping the verification deposits and then trying to withdraw to it will not verify a p/p account.

BTW - p/p know the difference between what is bank account and what looks like a bank account from the sort code and account numbers
