Default Address Verification Woes

Hi All,

Created a new stealth account , went to list a few items and saw I had a limit of 10 items / month or £645 or something, whatever came first.

There was a button that said raise seller limits. I clicked it. It then said we will send a letter to this address to verify you then enter the pin code we send you... The stealth address I have used I have no access to what so ever. Am I screwed here or is there another way to raise limits ?

Thanks

Jack

@Markflood, there are 2 ways to get account limits raised,

1. You call Ebay and answer some questions.
2. Try and answer their questions online
3. Sell and slowly get your limits raised.

This has been common UK ebay practice for some time now. It is not new.

Not every account gets hit with this, only some, and it appears to be fairly random.

Selling limits will increase naturally by selling to your limit and maintaining good feedback and DSRs.

Hi all,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I didn't actually click the request letter button as knew I had no access to address.

How can I go about raising limits ? I have searched but found no definitive answer...

Thanks

hi

your limits will rise naturally if you make be & pp happy.

But if you sell certain high-risk items, it will rise much slower.

open more accounts.
