Got MC999 Ebay wants to "talk".....what now??
 

Lovely lovely lovely. I have had this account for well over a year, 4.9-5.0 DSRs 1 neg (left by a competitor), 1 neutral ALL REST POSITIVE. last week a buyer decided to open an EBAY dispute for Not as described because...God as my witness...the envelope was dirty.

Of course, I have no way to insure that a white envelope that leaves my hands as such will be delivered just as crisp...SMH....anyway, had no way of avoiding the matter since the new-B went right for an ebay claim. Told the person to return the merchandise as well as the envelope and I will issue a full refund upon return. Never got it, 5 days after opening the claim she/he escalated to whatever they call it where it is put in ebay hands.

Ebay gives her THEIR money back, not mine, released the paypal hold on her funds told me everything was good to go that "I dont owe the buyer and dont owe ebay" (this happened 2 days ago) and then today go to list, I get 10 listings in and BOOM!!!! MC999 thing happens.

They want to "talk"...should I suggest we do it on the Dr. Phil show or is this more a Jerry Springer appropriate for the type of convo that would take place??? WHAT THE HELL DO I DO!?!?!?! Need Help Please :)

Stop the drama and give them a phone. If you dont call you will lose the account.

Get your story in order, your documents on standby, and call them up.

Don't panic. Get backup stealths going...if not already so.

with ebay disputes, sometimes eb pays the buyer then you replay eb.

next week: dispute has been opened because "stamp was placed not exactly straight and 1cm from side edges".

Mc999 states "unusual selling activity" they did not delete my postings currrently running. . No unusual activity has taken place thats BS. been selling the same thing at the same rate as i always have. I dont have balls/patience so moving on to another stealth. Any known MC999 deleting off an acct by themselves over time?

No they will not delete an MC999 over time. Makes no sense to throw away a good account just because you are scared to call in. Are you just going to throw away good accounts anytime a phone call is required? If so you will never get ahead in this game!

Problem is i have never done it before and dont have a single.clue. what do they ask how do i respond? Im stealth, so what do i do when if they ask for documents?? I work full time and have a fam. I get aggrevated quickly in my approaching old age. Cardfelon......want to clue me in on how to handle this and what to expect? You are much appreciated.

All Jokes aside the FACT is that you will LOSE the account if you do not call,,Do as you have been advised by others here,,,Get all your account info at the Ready and call, do the best that you can,,also remember giving an anwser like "I do Not Know", is ok because in most cases Neither do they,,,the WORST that can happen is that you will lose the account, but at least you have a BETTER than 50/50 chance if you call, you'll see

You said that your MC999 was for "unusual selling activity". That does not mean they are going to ask for docs. They might just want to ask you source of products etc...

so call them. worse they could do is lose the account, and it's already lost anyway if you don't call them, right? after a while, you learn to make 2 for every 1 account you lose and shrug it off. let those babies age and move on.

so that's pretty much it, it's a lost acct if you don't call, and if you call, worse they can do is close you down for that acct, but there is a slim chance you'll come off untouched and they'll be off your back for a while.....

i'm guessing they "probably" found a tiny info linking you to an old acct......

oh yeah, on the interview process, if you need time to find the answers, just ask them to repeat the question or say "you can't hear them, hold on while you adjust your phone" and tell them to repeat again. talk slowly and know that there is nothing really bad they can do to you so no reason to be scared.

Haha. Yes someone to do if for me would be very nice :) I dont like stepping into territory I dont fully know or understand. I have as much patience as Dr. Kevorkian does now a days. I know what I need to do. I need to learn stealth! lol! I have just been buying my accounts off this forum and moving slowly in regards to sales. Trying to fit in learning stealth while trying to get my bachelors in Accounting, working full time, have a fam and oh whining. Dang it I dont get enough sleep nowadays, sorry for the on and on. I think Ebay has it's monthly bill (ewww) as I got an MC999 today stating that the item was a "prohibitive accessory" that was in violation of ebay policy. BLAH BLAH BLAH.. Didn't ask me to talk but said they refunded my fees, don't sell it again and although there's a market for this item, it needs to be attached to it's original item for sale. Ironically there's 8 of the same type of item still listed and drumroll please... I BOUGHT this item 2 months ago from EBAY!!! Hypocrites and hitler type rules.. Seriously if it wasn't for the $$$ I make on Ebay, I would definitely tell them to go f*** themselves... I know there are tons of you that feel the same way..I wish that someone would open another similar type of auction site as popular and bankrupt them.. I'm so sick of the dictatorship and godlike attitude they portray..They say what comes around goes around.. I'm hoping I live long enough to see that day! good luck pleasehelpme.. make sure you have all your ducks in a row..

I had posted on here last week about my MC999. Well I was ready to let that year+ account and move on stealth.....bought the stealth guide....read it...was moving the last bit of paypal funds left in that attached paypal and went into that ebay account to ship the last of my customer purchases when I was like....hmmmm....let me just see for ****z and giggles if I can list...tried one listing and IT WENT THROUGH....tried a second listing AND IT WENT THROUGH..I did end up taking both right down since I dont list on Monday's....but hell...what the hell is going on? You think they will just perhaps limit me to like 10 items or something..I thought my MC999 meant I was gone for good!

Might be just a glitch in their system.

I tried that myself one time. Two hours later the auctions were taken down and they shut down the ebay account permanently along with the attached paypal account.
Ebay dont like it when you try to screw with them like that.

Hmm....well since I dont really feel like I have anything to lose....I just put up (3) 1-day listings...the same exact things I have been selling since day one....will see what happens. And I am not screwing ebay,lol! They are screwing me each and every day! I have a hole on my underside to prove it! hahahaha!

I just checked and listings still up.....getting off the computer and getting rest for the good 'ole 9-5. The listings are scheduled to end tomorrow so I will surely find the time to stop in tomorrow and leave a posting with my findings. I check my listings in the A.M. so if they are taken down by then, I will be on here earlier then expected :( Nite everyone!

1.5 hours left and the 3 auctions are still up and running with all 3 having bids. In about 2 hours going to try and list again! :) Fingers crossed. Will post here another update after the auctions end and I list whatever I can if I can. :0)

Ok.....drum roll please...lol!....All 3 listings ended successfully. Was able to successfully list almost 30 more listings! (that is all the items I currently had to list). The MC999 is still in my ebay messages dated the same date as it was when I got hit with it. I can't explain this. Dont think an explanation is necessary though. I am thankful that whatever is happening is indeed happening and will continue to work on stealth accounts. I just have to say that I am still shocked though.

Soooo....I shared with you guys that my MC999 occurred shortly after a lovely buyer who was unhappy that they did not receive a crisp white envelope (so they claim) and opened an ebay dispute. I was magically able to start listing again over the weekend (I dont know why I just had a feeling I should give it a try) and then today got the above message. SO obviously the buyer dispute did cause my MC999 and because this buyer made a habit of opening disputes, keeping the product and getting refunds (oh, I know that is so hard to believe that people would actually do that) got kicked off. SO I am guessing that me being able to list again was not because of a "glitch" but because the buyer dispute was the cause of my "unusual selling activity" MC999 and because the buyer did this as a habit, she/he was kicked off and I am allowed to sell. Maybe she/he will be one of our newest members on the forum.....HAHAHAHAHA!

Ohhhh slapped! I tell ya, luck is NEVER on my side...in fact, today my washing machine ripped my fav pair of thongs (true story, HAHAHAHAHA!) Anyhow, it wasnt explained to me, it is just my guess. But I think it is a logical one. Either way, I am riding it until the wheels fall off!
