So is there any way I can add a confirmed bank account? Not even Cash ISA account? | Of course nothing stops you from following the workarounds to hopefully get the savings account to stay. Also, confirming your bank account will verify your PayPal. Therefore there is no such thing as having an confirmed bank on an unverified PayPal.
ISAs are not ideal, Due to the limit of one per tax year, the limited amount of cash that you can deposit, and the fact that there have been reports of stealth deposits being rejected/PayPal being provided with the owner's real name. They also still have the same problem as any other savings account... you would still need the workaround. It would be a better option to withdraw to a more "normal" account and then manually deposit the cash into the IS, if you really want that tax-free allowance. |
| GrannyT | 08-30-2012 05:34 AM | Cash ISAs can be VERY VERY problematic. Would definitely advise against using these |

| GrannyT | 08-30-2012 06:43 AM | If you add the saver - get it confirmed and remove it as it needs to be done - then add the saver back when you need to withdraw and then leave it you SHOULD be OK.
No guarantees with Paypal I'm afraid.
Alternately add a second saver and do not confirm and just leave it
Once again there are no guarantees with Paypal. Basic bank account is always better.
You really should look at that. Saver accounts are a bit 'desperation' tactics in my view and it's just one more risk that really doesn't need to be taken |

I do use savers on a few paypal accounts but would never contemplate only using savings accounts. Use them only as a last resort ie you get declined for a basic bank account. |

Say if i added the saver, sent the deposits and confirmed the deposits and remove it immedietely. After 10 days If I add the saver back to withdraw, Can I only withdraw a maximum of 650 for the year? |

Credit score do not incure a charge for the bank and are easier to pass than a credit check which dig deeper and involve a charge, for example HX Easy Cash do a credit score not check, however a full current account with the same bank invloves a credit check. |

When you add it back is up to you, i wait untill i need to withdraw and if you add the bnk account back via the withdraw option you will not be asked to re add the mandate.
its how i add all my accounts savers or not. |
| GrannyT | 08-30-2012 11:54 AM | The OP might not quite get that TW
What TW is saying is do not add the account to Paypal - Withdraw and then when it asks you where to at that point add the saver account back
Is that correct TW? |
| Stigger | 08-30-2012 12:38 PM | Yup :thumb: |
