Mixing Niches
 

What is your opinion on this?

Niche, apple juice?

Like selling things on the same eBay account that ate totally unrelated. Or create a new account for each type of product. I hope this makes sense.

depends how you want to be seen. my high end stuff was all on one account so everyone could see the feedback on high priced similar items. i think it helped my sales very much so. it depends what you are selling and price range

I used to sell fetish DVDs and babywear on the same account. Was never an issue - both niches sold well

That was in the days when Paypal was the biggest porn payment gateway on the net

I only found it hard to get the adult size baby-gear though.

I digress, I do not mix & match.

I only ever add ice cubes

I like to mix apple juice with orange juice in the morning. That's my niche, mix any juice with another juice.

I have quite a few 'niches' or to be exact I sell different stuff from different catagories.

some accounts have differing catagories, and some are all one.

this is due to ideas popping in to my head and me giving them a try and they become another range.

some of this was planned some of it just happened, eg. I found some extra products and squeezed them in there and they remained, due to me hitting relist on them ever since.

probably the only reason I can think of to stick to one catagory is
1/ related product buying by same customer
2/ looks more professional, rather than mish-mash....
