returns

I have three accounts. One at my old address, one at my present address and a stealth which is brand new and unused. I am due to change address again in the next month or so. I am wondering if I should use the new address just for customer returns and exchanges, or use it to open another account. How would you handle it?

I do not recommend to change the address in Ebay, I do not know how about the others

The thing is people do move house all the time. I have changed addresses and telephone numbers on accounts before but they have always been well established and jumped through all the hoops. Never caused me any problems

The troubles we are getting nowadays are all coming about because EB & PP are putting new hoops in place all the time - all for our own good of course and to make our Ebay experience better

I would just create another account using that address so if EB send the dreaded PIN confirmation by post you know that you will receive it and also helps with returns.

You will also have an extra account to play with..........But it down to what you feel is best for you. There is no harm creating another one.:peace:

you should be able to change your address without concern,,,Assuming that you did not change it once already, lets face if you change your address often, ebay might get suspicous

Its not a problem changing addresses but why not just create one extra back-up account.

Some good advise, thanks. My real concern was about returns. I sell clothes and there are occassions when the customer wants to return or exchange for whatever reason. I wondered if I should use the future new address for these returns from all three accounts. ( Putting a note in with the customer's parcel to advise returns address). If I were to open another e-bay account at the new address might there be a problem in the future should one of the accounts go down?

Its risky using the address as a return address for all 3 accounts as you might have one customer buying from all three accounts..........

You can use a return on one of the account by changing it within ebay. Return address can be different from registered address

So what about some of these guys on here who have numerous accounts? Surely they don't have different address for each account. I read a few weeks ago that one member had 100's of accounts.
