| | | | | terell05 | 09-05-2012 04:35 AM | New ebay checkout for Stealth accounts Hi, everybody, Using some of the techniques I've learned, I've developed a new checkout system similar to cartmanager, but more user friendly and for stealth accounts ;).
But to require it to work, I have to reveal some of the things I've learned how to do on ebay. For example, Avoid 21 day hold, have complete control of the ebay listing.(Can put php, javascript/jquery, pretty much any code).
Some Features of ebcheckout is - have multiple ebay accounts on one primary account
- With javascript, it won't take the user off ebay
- If you have multiple paypal accounts, after one paypal account gets paid, it can rotate to the next. This will spread your funds out, which will lower your risk of losing more funds.
- After payment, it will automatically mark auction paid for.
Anyways, I have uploaded a demo of how it works on youtube, the link is below. I used ebay and paypal sandbox for demo purposes, but it does work live. I've Already used it on multiple listings. Tell me what you think. |

Looks nice - props for the effort.

I kind of doubt that. |
| terell05 | 09-05-2012 06:30 AM | Avoiding 21 day is possible Now my method of avoiding the 21 day hold it's not as easy as the penny trick back in the day, but it is still easy. I won't go into detail on how to do it unless you signup for ebcheckout of course, but I will give you a hint... You need to figure out how to disable eBay's checkout system, so buyers will have to wait for you to send an invoice or use a third party checkout like cartmanager or ebcheckout. If you figure it out, don't spread it all over the web. When I figured it out, I was sending invoices to buyers using paypal but it would take 2-3 days for some buyers to make a payment, also I had to know when items were bought or be ready to send invoice when the auction finished. Sometimes I didn't send an invoice until 6-12 hours after the buyer bought or won the auction. Then I used cartmanager, but that was sometimes buggy, took the buyer off ebay(some buyers didn't like that), and I didn't like that it didn't mark the aucition as paid for. These are the reasons I decided to create my own checkout and once I saw how well it worked, I figured why not offer it to other sellers. |

| GrannyT | 09-05-2012 07:38 AM | Hmm - a long time player so you have a certain amount of cred.
Personally I wont risk any of my accounts on this but I'm seriously thinking of new accounts - just to see
Hmm |
| newjerseymax | 09-05-2012 11:30 PM | I would be afraid that this is a method to phish accounts... |
| Gman91189 | 09-06-2012 12:20 AM | i dont know why ppl even make a big deal on the 21 day hold... after it being new.. unless youre really pushy it'll come up otherwise.. just use those days to make more accounts, nonetheless Newjerseymax has a point could be phishin accounts, good thought however.. |
| terell05 | 09-06-2012 12:41 AM | Yes, this can be used for malicious acts on ebay, but if you're a legit seller like myself, you wouldn't dare do anything like that. I've known how to add custom code onto ebay for about two years now and up until now I didn't want to tell anybody how to do it, because I was afraid of people abusing it. |

Oh, no no no... The process works exactly like cartmanager, I use paypal's and ebay api to gather and direct the necessary info needed to complete the transaction. The difference is the code you put on your on listings will make the process a lot cleaner using javascript and jquery to create a lytebox iframe instead of sending the user offsite, like cartmanager. I hope this clears up any confusion. |

I guess the average seller like me would not feel comfortable putting that out there without having the background knowledge exactly as to whats going on. I suspect that is why the responses have been very limited...
This might be a fabulous idea, but the average Joe will not go for it as it seems a bit to complicated... |
| GrannyT | 09-06-2012 04:02 PM | I'm wading through treacle with the whole idea - I love it but god knows how it works |
| Callidus | 09-06-2012 04:46 PM | Looks good but too good to be true.... hmm what doesnt add up - think harder :nono: |

I've done some testing to see how you can disable Ebays checkout system and can put all my money now that there is a way how to avoid PP 21 day hold. It does work.. |
| Mr. Invisible | 09-08-2012 07:04 PM | Sounds great but a little :suspicious: |
| Global | 09-10-2012 06:00 PM | this is very interesting, esp. the 21 day hold removal - lets face it, which of us would complain if we could rid ourselves of that and get our sold funds quicker (and out of paypals grasp!) |

If it was it would be used widely, shared and "fixed" by PP long time ago. Every system has bugs and you just have to find them. It's trial and error and you have to think outside the box as well.. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:40 PM. | |
