Default I want to Withdraw money from a limited PP but There's a montly withdrawal limit

Hi Guys,

I have a USA paypal account with 2800 usd in it and it was limited 1.5 years ago. I want to get the money out now but there is a 500 usd monthly withdrawal limit on the account.

They ask for 2 things to remove the limit.

1 - SSN

2- VCC

VCC is easy but SSN will not work for me since i am not a US citizen.

Will VCC only raise the withdrawal limit?

Is there any other way or should i get money out from month to month ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Did you try to withdraw it all? You should be able to add vcc and withdraw it. Because you only need to complete 2 out of 3.

Thanks to both of you guys.

I had to wait that long because i am not in USA. I live in Europe and I needed a USA bank account to withdraw money.

I have 2 options in my mind to withdraw money.

1 - I can spend like 1800 usd (including airplane ticket) and go to USA and i can open 2 bank accounts and withdraw all money (around 4300 usd)

2 - I can pay 700 usd to apsking approved sellers so they can get the money out for me.

Which options is more reasonable ? Please advice.

You might have trouble opening up a USA bank account if you are not a citizen or permanent resident.

Why not open up a paypal account in your own country and apply for the money from your USA paypal account, do it in small amounts.

His account is limited his only option is to withdraw.

Plus here's some tips to open up a USA bank account without being a citizen.

I would not be holding my breath to get the funds...

if the accounts was permanently limited, paypal does not usually care about getting the limits raised. Why would they?

Did you ever get notice (even 18 months ago) that the account was limited forever?

No it was just asked for documents and to add a VCC. I did not do anything, i just left it as it is.

I still think adding a VCC may remove limits but you say, it will not work.

I will send you a screenshoot tomorrow of limitation notification page

I'm Spanish and I have ppal account in Spain. Recently I was in Texas and opened a bank account chasebank in less than 10 minutes and only asked me for my passport and $ 50.
I add my new ppal account in less than three hours limited ppal. I asked and the shipping documents and now my paypal is verified with U.S. bank account.
I can spend money from my ppal to my bank account in USA, but not the other and I can not pay from the bank account used.
Applies only to Withdraw money from paypal.

If you are physically in the US on Visitor VISA, you can definitely open a US bank account with your PASSPORT and a US physical address.
I have done this for my friend who was on Visitor VISA.
The account was opened at Wells Fargo.

Try adding a VCC to attempt to remove the limits. I don't see how it can hurt you as the account is already limited. Worse comes you might have to open a US bank account.

just add the vcc, you need to do 2-3 vcc, bank account or social. Since you have the bank account already, just add the vcc, confirm it and take your money as fast as you can

If it is 180 days limited paypal account then you will not face those problems.

when you add bank account to paypal, (complete the verification process for bank. either instant or 2 bank deposits) you are automatically verified. and your limits are removed. so you will not find any problem in withdrawing the funds.

1 thing which you did not mention is, was your account limited for 180 days or just limited and you did not complete the steps to remove limitation?
if its the 2nd case then am sorry to say, once you add cc and complete the step you will be limited for 180 days from that date.

This happened to a buddy of mine a few weeks ago. He had $1400 in PP.

He withdrew $500.
Relogged into PP, he had $900 in his account.
He withdrew $500.
Relogged into PP, he had $400 in his account.
He withdrew $400.

I was a nonbeliever. I laughed at him. "LOL! Wait 3 days and watch those payments get bounced!" I said.

3 days later he showed me the cash in his account.

It seems as though all you need to do to bypass the $500/mo limit is to do multiple withdrawls.

The US account is another matter entirely though.... GL with that.

Limited PayPal accounts after 180 days don't have any withdrawal limits at all actually, even if it says otherwise on the account. If you just enter the full amount in your PayPal account during withdraw, the system will actually let you.

Why would they ask you for SSN on an account from Greece?
