BOA Locked My Account...
 

Ok so I tried logging into a newly made Bank of America account and could not gain access. I called them up and they ended up transferring me to the Fraud dept. . I had to verify some info for them to unlock it. I was told that it was flagged because of a suspicious ip address. The only reason i can think of this is because someone else in my house using the same ip address also has multiple BOA accounts that were made on the same network ip. Is it a risk to have a 3rd person open bank accounts with BOA on the same network at the same address?

Yes, that would be reason for the bank to take preventive action.

Make a point of letting the bank know you share an address with other parties....get that info recorded :juggle:

Very true, maybe its better if I avoid it altogether and find a secondary bank. I am just having a hard time finding one that has cheaper ways to avoid the monthly fee...

Don`t fug around with banks just thinking you can do whatever - build SOLID relationships then your fug ups might pass.

This thread title made my heart drop...

Maybe you should start changing your IP address when you need to do BofA stuff. Also curious as to why your roommates are opening so many accounts.
