Activity: 0% Longevity: 72% | | 2nd hand designer clothes
A couple of months ago I got a v*ro warning and one of my items was removed. No penalty but told to be a good boy for 3 months and warning would be removed. I got cold feet and stopped trading on that account. Now I want to be a good boy and sell legit(used) branded clothes purchased from a UK retro wholesaler. My question is- am I likely to be v*ro'd again? The account is a legitimate one, not stealth, several years old, so I would hate to lose it.

Was it the same stuff that you got v*roed for in the first place?
In your shoes, I would NOT use this account - make new ones and try it out stealthwise.

If your wholesaler is legit and you are selling used rather than new I don't see why you should have a problem - just keep your invoices available for inspection

There is nothing stopping you from contacting Ebay and asking for advise. This then goes on your file and is ammunition in the event of anything going wrong.

you better not be using my wholesaler hehe...I do sell sometimes those retro branded items on one acc, and never had an issue, only issue is the brand name limit, I did not call them or mess with lifting the limit, as it is a stealth acc and I can manage to space out the ones with brand names to 2 per month, rest even if minor brands do not come up under the limit for some reason...
mod stuff is v popular, as is vintage high-end designer...
retro stuff is often unique looking and does not look like a mass produced fa ke, take alot of good quality pics and state on the listing that authenticity is guaranteed.
I suppose if the ask you for receipts or supplier info, you will be able to give it?

I agree, presentation is everything. I've seen some good stuff going for a song just because the seller was too lazy to present it properly
I am sure this wholesaler is legit, and I WILL have receipts to hand but from what I've been reading on this forum it is almost impossible to reverse an unfair decision

I will cross that bridge when I come to it, only thing I ever had had taken down was years ago, a personal item, a vintage designer bag, I had spilled red wine in it and it was selling cheap, could not believe it...

Still worth to have other accounts to build up in case.

Do the homework. Make sure it's fine for ebay selling. That includes checking OFF ebay that the items are not heavily punished by VeRo takedowns.
Dont be swayed by other sellers selling the same gear.
Should you proceed to listing, full description, great photos help too

One of my other friends bought an entire container worth of 60,000 Tiffany (no kidding) and half of it was either broken or simply defected. So basically he could not sell any. Lost 60,000 ....

it is not about high quality - you had better get supplier details ready (yeah right, like a wholesale supplier at those prices exists!), as several sales (if you get that far) will flag you....the people selling those are selling a couple maybe infrequently....

I wouldn't deal with them full time, I just sell jewelry for some girls that buy it for the season and just have it sitting around. Leads me to more consignments

I avoid both vero and trust and safety. These aren't real ppl but bots who remove your listings.

I know they are bots but how do you get the traffic if you do not put brand name in as searchable?
