⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address
 

I have read through this forum and ebay stealth, but I still can't figure out how to get around the ebay verification of a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address. When ebay made me call to verify my info, I didn't answer the questions correctly..obviously b/c all the info was made up. What do you guys do when encountering this problem?

Use a name variation of your real name, instead of a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one. As for the address never use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one that doesn't exist, instead use UPS, they give you street addresses, look up "mail forwarding" too. I have everything written on paper, as you should as well to be better prepared.

Do you mean open a ups po box just for an ebay address? Even so, how does ebay do any kind of verification questions for this address since it has no history? They will ask what the previous address was...they asked me that when they couldn't verify my address.

Yeah, open a UPS Box, and use that as your address. Ebay will see this as a real address, and not something that's made up.

eBay makes up their questions, your best bet is to answer them to the best of your ability. When they asked for a previous address you should have given them a genuine previous address thats vacant.

They don't really make you call. You make yourself call when you are trying to increase limits on stealth account, since there is no match from public records, the questionnaire gets skipped. I assume this is what you are talking about.

If you got MC999 on a new account, just gotta be more careful and take it more easy, that can be avoided. So you don't actually have to verify any info with them.

MC999 is what happened to me, after about a month. I was listing very slowly, taking it easy, nothing suspicious, general household goods.

so I can just give any vacant previous address even if I've never lived there?

I don't understand...why would the account not last a long time?

You can start with random address, and later switch to an address you have access to, once the account is stable and gets busy.

As for MC999, read around the forums how to avoid it as best as possible. There are some dedicated threads for this.
