change email or sart new account?

Need a little advice here on this one.

Someone has agreed to give me a new pp/ebay account and provide all the docs when they are asked for. I will be paying them a % of sales in return.

Here is my question. We need to change the email address and phone number so I have access and he doenst want his personal email attached.

Is it best to delete the 2 accounts and start new or change the info?

The accounts are only 2 weeks old and have never been used...the only info on them is name, address and phone number. No banking info or anything.

Just a simple account creation.

Thanks for any advice.

'Just a simple account creation' and within days of it starting radial changes are being made...

Are you sure you want advice?:pop2:

Yes I do...I know changing info is not something that should be done....especially after a few weeks.

Im just not sure the best way to approach this account. the owner wanted to change the info I said I dont think thats good. So then he asked if he should delete the accounts altogether.

Im just really not sure how to approach it. and what to tell him to do for now.

Do NOT change info - let those accounts be - go stealth and make new unlinked accounts.

If those accounts are still good, then build them separately.

Although it seems that you are up to something....ha

what it boiled down to was we were going to go 50/50....but he doesnt have the time to put into ebay and doesnt know anything about it. never used it before. So he told me i can have the account he made for us and I just pay him a % of sales for use of the account. He just didnt want his personal email flooded with ebay stuff and I wouldnt be able to access his email account. And he was worried that if ebay or pp ever called him he would have no idea what was going on if they asked him any questions.

We were just discussing option and I figured I would see what advice I could get. Im just going to let that account be as it is. seems like the best solution.

Fair enough.

Keep it at the discussion point, and that only. :peace:

Here's what I get from your posts....

friend is half pie interested in 'the venture'.

Heck, he got offered money for nearly nothing.

Then the 1st grumblings start.... you know I don't want my email full of ebay stuff. groan, groan

Account goes well. Friend, somehow finds out the money you are making with ALL your hard work. moan. moan again Hey man you should give me more for using my name & address....

see the potential for trouble for YOU???

Make your own independent of him stealth accounts. You can do it :thumb:

I agree. Friends are no longer friends when money enters the equation. I know from bitter experience.

The process is simple enough for you to do it alone - I have faith in you :thumb:
