Also, how much payment received in total will trigger the tax id requirement?

You really should read this forum for about 40 hours to really get a feel for this. PP is very important for my income so I have NO choice but to learn this system.

In regards to the Tax requirements, the rule says 200 sales or $20,000 whichever comes first.

But here's the kicker. In many cases PP will ask for this with far less sales or income. I've seen as low as $4,000.

Remember, PP can and will do ANYthing they want.
