withdrawing to bank account from paypal - transaction DENIED by the bank?!?
 

First time this has ever happened to me - stealth account, using UBANK. Been active about 6 months, made plenty of withdrawals.

On my latest withdrawal, i get an email from paypal saying:

An electronic funds transfer from your PayPal account to your bank account was declined by the bank. Typically, this happens for one of the following reasons:

The bank account number does not exist or is otherwise invalid
The bank branch listed in your PayPal account does not exist
The bank does not accept electronic withdrawals
Other reasons not specified by the bank

Why would the bank do this now??? They are not checking names now are they?? Wtf?

I had to close the account and open a new one, i hope this doesnt happen again.

Did you query this issue with the bank at all ???

nope- didnt really want them asking questions about what business im in, why i have so many accounts etc

I think they would have been better placed to answer your question.

This happened to me twice before. I withdrew again and the withdraw went through. Maybe a glitch somewhere along the line.

i had this happen to me recently and they limited my account

We're in the same situation once again as of 12:34PM BST, currently in GreenBean's favour. Oh, I can't watch...

Edit: Looks like rost posted enough spam to offset it by 5 more posts (so 4 posts in his favour) in the space of just 3 minutes... I must say that I am impressed.
