Paypal can't verify my Chase Debit Card...
 

I just set up a new bank account and started the link and confirm process with a new paypal account. I went to add a debit card so I can lift the withdrawal limit and I was aloud to link it to my account but when I try to start the confirmation process it says that the card could not be verified. I deleted it and tried again but still no luck. Why is this happening?

you have to make sure that the address and other stuff things match. Might have to call Chase or look at your account to see if everything matches.

Did it have funds loaded?

Wow GreenBean I think you may be correct. My account is showing I have funds available now but I am pretty sure yesterday when I was trying, it had stated a balance of $0. Maybe my opening deposit cleared late. However, I will try again tonight when I get home. Thanks!!

I wonder also if perhaps the phone number has to match?

I actually had similar problems, but this is with a giftcard , not a debit card.
