The new phone verification question

Any thoughts on this? Does the new phone verification program actually help in the long run? I mean, I verified the phone number on a 4 month old account. I have 1,300 auction items up right now. The opening bid is under $10 on each item. I know that I would often receive "abusing ebay" emails in the past when I posted even 100 auctions on these accounts. Any thoughts on this?

It'll help against fraud, and maybe if eBay has changed other things with this, it could help eBay trust you more. It's too early to tell now, but overall it's a good thing I think. A bit of a pain, but good still.
