Business license / Personal Income tax return form
 

Has anyone been asked to proove business license / Personal income tax return form by paypal?

My paypal got limited & has been asking me the following.

What is a way around this?

Never heard of a business license and they have no right to ask to see your Income Tax returns.

I am thinking this might actually be a non UK PP A/C you have.

In the UK there is no requirement for a normal business to be licensed other than in certain professional fields that may be regulated.

As for tax related documents that p/p may request for ID verification these are notice of tax coding or self assessment and NOT income tax returns, they have no right to request those.

This is a UK PP Account.

Provide them this set of information:

notice of tax coding or self assessment instead of the income tax return and NOT income tax returns, they have no right to request those.
