Confirmed: Vanilla Visa does NOT work on amazon.
 

i searched on this forum before i started amazon ghost to see if there is any known gift/prepaid card that works on amazon. i found this thread back in 2011 saying that vanilla visa works on amazon and it doesn't. i have tried multiple vanilla visa and they all got linked in 5 mins after i created the accounts. i'm pretty sure that the reason it got linked is because of vanilla visa. i made a ghost account with my aunt's visa perfectly fine using exact same method. if anyone know that there is a working gift/prepaid card post here or pm me please :)

I've been running several amazon accounts made with vanilla visas in the last couple months no problem, have went over 1000$ in sales on all of them but haven't hit first review so we'll see.

Hmm could be specific cards starting with 4 numbers? Or expiry date flags?

All vanilla visas I have used successfully for amazon have expiry date at least 5 years in the future. First 4 digits are same on 4 out of 5 of them, rest are different. I have noticed you do have to register the zip code on vanilla visa's website for it to authorize for amazon. Not always for PP.

maybe i put different zip code then i will try with new one again
