Adding EIN to Paypal...Do I select Sole Prop.?

I have an EIN ready to go for one of my Paypal accounts and after asking me to upgrade to a business account, they ask what type of business it is. It is registered as a Sole Proprietorship but I remember seeing somewhere that paypal cross references the name of the owner with the IRS records since a Sole Proprietorship only consists of one person. Is this true? Should I say it's and LLC or will that just cause more problems?

I have searched all over but cannot find a clear cut answer and all of the related threads have been closed. The reason I am asking is because my real info linked to the IRS will not match any of my paypal info if somehow cross referenced...

There is no tax expert here that is going to give a user info that might put them in bad standing with the IRS.

Forum has never been about doing taxes. You will/should have noticed that on the closed threads.
