Auto Reinstatement from Indefinite Suspension

My account was restricted to buying only due to DSR over threshhold. I get the feeling that once the low DSRs roll off then the performance rating becomes above standard, and the ebay bots will automatically lift the selling restriction.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks
Z

I wouldn't bank on it. Once suspended you are usually SOL. Just make another account and carry on. Also I would try to make your customers happy.

Im suprised it was just restricted to buying .
My experience is once they act due to dsrs your a gonner !
But you may be lucky however i would not hold my breath waiting for them to let you sell again on that account !
At least while your waiting for them to decide your fate you can build up some fresh accounts ready for next time they decide to mess around with your livelyhood ..

Right, thanks. I do have another longstanding account but its got real info in and I'm certain they'd be able to link them somehow. So yes I'm taking this downtime to learn about stealth from the wizards here. Should be ready to muck around with it in a few days. As everyone knows there are many different ways to set them up and everyone has a different comfort level. The folks that set up like 80 different accts and then list in all of them amaze me. I think I'd be pulling my hair out tryingb to keep 3 or 4 straight.

Of course this is the worst time of year to get suspended, fortunately I learned the hard lesson last year and diversified onto amazon, bonanza, and Ebid.

Generally, I do go the extra mile to keep the buyers happy. It really doesn't take many scammers and/or morons to put your Dsr over the top. Especially Snad at only 1%. It's crazy cause I was selling Chinese cables for about 10 cents profit each. But these things have about a 10% defect rate from the factory. If somebody got a bad one and let me know I just send a replacement. Problem is some dont write back and just ding the Dsr. I could get a more expensive cable but then it's impossible to move them. And the margin is so small it's not worth it to test each one.

But therein lies the problem with ebays rating system. Some products are more risky than others. And by the time you figure out which products are killing your rating its too late.
