Addresses...

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great Christmas season.

Just a quick query, I have been researching and just wanted some clarification that I was on the right tracks...

At the moment, I have a few accounts where I have no access to the address. Now from my understanding it would be okay to get a mail forwarding service and use this address as the return address for the account? (of course it would be different address/different account)

In the future I want to make more accounts but would like to have access to the address. I understand that it would not be okay to list a mail forwarding/virtual address as a residential address so is there any other way around this?

Truly appreciate any response & help.

Whiteberry x

You should be fine with your idea.

The only way I have ever thought it would work is listing any random address then choose to forward the mail from that address to your own personal address ? or am I wrong?

I generally have no access to mine but would like to start... I wouldnt mind some help with this either

If its just for the purpose of returns i include a small leaflet in every item.
Thanking them for there business
Reminding them to leave feedback as a seller with good feedback and trs can offer items cheaper as there ebay fees are lower.
Then i have a small section on the bottom telling them of our new centralised returns depot .
Only goods returned to this address will be refunded / replaced .

I have never had a problem with this. Buyers always ask how to return an item in case they need an RMA.

Using a RMA also gives your business more street cred - quite professional :thumb:
