changing home address for selling items
 

Hi Guys

For my listings i am selling i dont want to be linked to my house for security reasons . So the question is can i change the name and address on my account info for selling items but change it back when im not puting a listing up .

will ebay notice this and do something about it or do they bother to check these things .

would just rather list items and when you click on the contact details for business seller details i would rather a different address away from my home but is this against rules on ebay or does it matter ?

Address changes can flag accounts.

ebay can check such changes.

Is this a stealth account you want to kill off quickly?

its not a stealth account but i just didnt want my home name and address being made public . is there no way of getting around this ?

I have never used a home address for those exact reasons.

Could you rent a PO box or consider mail forwarding?

i still have to put a name on it tho . or can i just change it to a business name on personal info .


i can look at getting a po box but again thats costing me money to do that .

You would think ebay would allow you to put a little info as possible on the details that are made public .

I wouldnt like a opportunist to think i have my goods stored in my garage , in my back shed or in my bedroom incase they try chance there luck .
