Worried about item sold on PP help appreciated
 

Hi I just sold an item for the first time for £300 on a ebay on a account which is 1 year old with 300 feedback. I'm recieving the funds on a unverified 2-3 day old stealth. The paypal payment just shows as pending, but it's not pending balance or the 21 day hold. Just says 'pending'. Should I add a VCC to speed it up..or is this normal..Just I'm concerned as it's showed the payment as 'pending' for 4 days now.
The buyer keeps asking me to ship the item saying he's paid, but I refuse as I say my balance is still 0.

4 days pending is not usual....


Not nice either.

I sense problems if that paypal is so new.

i have buyers all the time who dont undestand how they work and assume they have paid

I guess that's an Echeck, depends on the bank to release it, But you are in the safe side, Do not ship till it become completed and the funds in your paypal account

Its an echeck I've done it b y accident myself. Email the customer a screenshot of the page and have them understand the situation better

Yeah I haven't asked the customer how they paid, but I've told them it's pending and am going to send them a screenshot. Alot of you say you can see trouble ahead..well if i verify the account do you think this will fix the problem..or whats the best resolution?

it has nothing to do with you, it has to do with the way they sent the payment

If you go to your PayPal account it should tell you if the payment was an echeck.

Oh right yeah I see. I'll have to just wait then I guess, a shame because was needing to refund another buyer and hoping to use these funds. Just refunded the other buyer using my own funds, but waiting for this money to come in to reimburse me
