Paypal give second chances?

So years ago, probably 4 years or so now I messed up my original pp account. I made a new one this year to start selling on ebay again. I use my business info with my real name though. I used EIN when they ask for it.

Problem is I want to get paypal here mobile payment processor but they will not allow you to use EIN info for that.

So, does pp give second chances. last thing I want to do is risk my current account as its been going very well.

Received about 40k worth of payments with no problems.

Although pp/eb isnt a big part of my income its still nice to have more income sources.

So what you guys think...

Not trying to be snide or sarcastic, but honest.

Very rarely do they give second chances.

You merely skirted around the issue of having them pinpoint exactly who you are, and even then, they could request the original SSN, which you will have to provide.

Not a matter of second chance at all. As you have not been totally forthright as to who you are as a person, but as a business.

You would be surprised. Someone very close to me had a PP and eBay and was selling a certain type of goods on it. Took 8k worth of payments in 2 days for these items. Was limited - sent a letter explaining - permanent limitation on the account. 4 months later get a call from a lady saying, "Hello there, we will be reinstating your account..." and what do you know... its reinstated with the money available.

Now that's 1 in a million chance.

Like I said, I dont want to risk is but ebay/pp is chum change compare to what I make on amazon and other venues...

In my opinion I don't think eBay or PayPal give second chances. I've had 5 or 6 accounts limited in the last 4 years..all on moves of my own fault/rookie moves or just thinking I was a badass to be fair..but getting hit with a limitation is like getting arrested by the cops you feel the same shame haha. LOL

No but seriously I agree with Roscoe and everyone, eBay/PP they don't give second chances..if you mess up a business or your account your a 'risk' to them..so why would they let 2 risks into a business when they block 1?

Sure I've heard stories on this forum about PP people getting their accounts unlimited and on the internet.but all from the USA..i've never heard or seen anyone or met any user on here who's ever got their account unlimited or been given a second chance..

In my opinion your best option would be to stealth

PayPal keeps records for more than 5 years ,do you think they believe in 2nd chances

rsot 12-19-2012 08:49 PM

PP is notorious for blocking even the 'good guys' without chance of appeal - and they give your info for years - all this in mind should you stealth-minded...even never using your real information

i always wondered though if you stealthed.couldn't you be arrested for using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details?
