In making my plan to open a new ebay account, I have a few questions that I have not run accross the answers over the past few days of reading posts.

1. I have permission to use my parents name/address/ph# to make a new ebay acct, but my concern is they live about 35 miles away in a different city. My IP address is not going to show the correct city, so is this info option useless?

2. Also thought of another question. I have RoadRunnerHighSpeed & their digital phone service. Today I just realized that means I dont have a land line and cant use dial up to access different IPs! I suppose I could take on the expense of a land line just for that purpose, but this is really starting to add up! Unless you have a better suggestion?

3. If we use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names/addresses or say use the neighbors, what happens when a package gets returned as undeliverable ect? or is it OK to put your real address on the return label?

1) Anything more then 50-100 miles could cause issues, but 35 miles away should be fine.

2) Are you unable to change your IP address? Dialup is a good option, but if you can change your roadrunner IP address, that'll work just as well.

3) It's best to include within the package a return label.

2) Are you unable to change your IP address?

I am confused how to change my IP to deal with more than 1 ebay account. I understand making different user accts to seperate flash cookies, deleting cookies. But I have a modem & router w/4 wireless computers, and dont know how to easily manipulate IP changes for each account.

Is there a way to manually get into your computer to change your IP each time? Or am I misunderstanding that there is a really easy way to go about this?

The most easiest way to dole the ip problem is just simply getting dialup.
