'Online Bank account' opening UK Help
 

iI wanted to age a stealth and verify it..and not use it for like 9 months..
I have tried to apply for a post office account and it says they will 'electronically' try and verify your details from your address and bank account for a current account..I put all my current details in but it always asks me for further ID as they were 'unable to verify my ID' i wondered what do they check this again? Is it the electoral register or where?

Okay whats the best way to age an account then..just a small few transactions say £5 or less?

Not using a account for 9 months is not a good idea if you want to age accounts it is always good to buy stuff bid on items you can't win send messages search for items and add it to your watch list etc

You should do periodic browsing and bidding at least to keep account active

Yeah..ill obviously buy stuff for my new house move too, storage boxes etc..and in august am going to ibiza so probably more stuff..
can i ask also..is it best to have a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name as a stealth or something simliar to your real? ive read so much different

I think you've already experienced the results of using similar names.

What happens if you are not on the electoral register?

A round of thinking outside the box is needed.

Yeah you see thats my problem because i'm in studies (don't want to post full details here) i basically don't/aren't on any electoral regester as far as i'm aware as my landlord pays all council tax etc. So i can't seem to get any account opened without it asking for further info..
My other thing is that opening a new stealth..is there really any point is what I think when am going to be moving house in 6-7 months?
