Does anybody know the reasoning for this? Why don't people just go buy one at the store?
Also, is this a good option to withdrawal your paypal funds without having to attach a bank account? There are no stealth rules about buying things from eBay are there? | Probably a combo of aggressive bidders (I wont call my bread and butter bidders stupid just yet :P)
but also people who are trying to quickly cash out their paypal accounts.
They are willing to eat a little bit of a loss in order to ensure their money arrives safely and not have to worry about it becoming limited.
Think about it. you have 1k in an account and you use the money on ebay/paypal, they most likely will not have a problem with you reusing the money. even if you buy a lot of $100 gift cards and use the rest for fees and over bids, you still get a majority of that money out.
