Re-using bank accounts for PayPals
 

Hello.

Before I get mean replies i know that 1 PayPal= 1 Bank account.

With that being said. I wonder if you can remove the bank account from the paypal (not limited paypal) and link it a brand new paypal. has anyone been successful at doing this or does paypal just limit both accounts because they are under different names?

Or this is I thin might be more clever. Remove the bank account from a useless not Limited paypal account, delete that paypal account because it is coming close to the IRS threshold, open a new one (im not sure whether it should be under the same name or different name) and then link that same bank account to it.

What do you think, will paypal be suspicious of this? Has anyone ever experimented because I have no choice but to in a month or so.

For those of you who dont know I will let you know how it goes!

with that in mind, think of your question again and then think of what the answer would be.

I don't know where you live but you can go to multiple banks and open multiple accounts.

Oh, so you are hoping to remove/delete a paypal account and re-use its bank account on your next paypal account to subvert tax responsibilities without a reaction from 'we practise kindness & killing accounts daily' paypal?

I understand that I can open multiple bank accounts.
Currently I am in a situation where I can not open many accounts for personal reasons, this is why I am trying all these loopholes.

The will most likely link the accounts!

paypal will reject the attempt stating that the account has already been used/is being used.

Correct. Re-using info links accounts.

Info may be deleted from 'your' side. Sadly it is retained on the paypal/ebay side.

You can also try prepaid cards as they come with a bank account number and routing information. Search the forums to see which ones will work as there are a lot of cards but some that do not work with mismatched names.

Plus, don't try attaching a used bank on another Paypal unless you want a lot of limited Paypal accounts.

For those kind of cards, would suggest slight alteration of names not completely mismatched....some of those cards have been known to cause issues with nonmatching names

That's a do with caution approach.

Avoid too much of a mis-match with names. Reduces likelihood of problems.
