Cheap 1 month Virtual Phone Numbers £3.59

can be had at Voice - Usomo Business Mobile VoIP

£3.59 all in, diverts to your mobile (for all those pesky Ebay Verification calls) and you can cancel the service after you've had your wicked way with it ;)

Then, just add another to your usomo account when needed :)

Just saying...

There are cheaper tried and tested options around.

Just saying...

Better option to buy a sim card for 99p from a corner shop or get a bunch for free at airport..

99p (or free) plus the obligatory £10 top up you mean to activate it....

Not all sims require a top up to activate them, some you can pop into to handset and they're ready to receive calls.

Nice info.

BUT.............. some of these companies get upset when users do as you suggested, ie cancelling for the sake of a new number.

Therefore they become ineffective for long term stealth users. My preference is to control the phone by use of a sims card etc. Best stealth way

Just saying

Shame e/b and p/ get so upset when they try to call you some time down the road and your registered number has been disconnected.

They tend to limit your account and ask for all sorts of additional info.

Maybe not such a good idea eh?

Speeder33 01-11-2013 01:54 PM

tons of free options, not sure why anybody would pay for phone verification unless it was under a dollar....

mindcrimes 01-11-2013 02:07 PM

O2 is best as it is ready literally the moment that you put the SIM into the phone. Orange takes a little while to activate itself once inserted, as does T-mobile. Vodafone should be avoided though as they require a topup to activate the card. I haven't tried 3 or any others.

Activate your sim:

It’s easy. When your sims arrive put one in your mobile and call 4444 free.

Or, if you like, you can set up an auto top-up by visiting o2.co.uk/topup.

Elijah 01-12-2013 08:04 PM

You don't need to even do that... just insert the SIM into your phone, and you are ready to go. The phone will be ready to receive calls.

Batman 01-13-2013 12:08 AM

have you guys not used pay as you go sims before lol, its just a sim just stick it in and your ready to recieve your calls and if you want to MAKE calls then just Top up, simple as not such a biggie

I suppose some folks do but that is why VOIP is preferable as all your numbers can the be forwarded to a single landline or mobile number.

Soho66 is particularly good for this when using their 'Whisper" feature.

Stigger 01-13-2013 09:30 AM

a free u.k voip service switchboardfree.co.uk and but only free if you want 0845 numbers, loads of other one but i'll let you find them yourselfs.
