US ebay with CA paypal
 

Hi, I am thinking open a US ebay, but link to a CA paypal to receive funds . So that can avoid giving SSN to paypal. Will this work ?? :help:

There is no way that would work for the following reasons:

1) Ebay/Paypal don't like location ambiguity = suspended accounts
2) It would not be legal in either country because who would get the taxes from the sales.
3) The policy differences may be incompatible

The only way you can do this is if you create the account on eb.CA THEN sell on US. It will be a Canadian registered account.

1. You wont be able to create it on US eb UNLESS you use a US address....THAT can cause a big flag for the eb/pp combo.

2. Best to use matching info.

No you cant - you need to have Canadian address :)

Thanks :) It is because if I open US eb and pp, then pp will ask for SSN and I don't have SSN. But is it OK to login CA eb with a US ip ? THANKS :)

No means no all of your proposals are faulty.

No means your aim to bypass the SSN via using Canada will not work.

Even if it did work, CA has the same tax policies. ebay/pp SHOULD request tax info at 200/$20000 also... "social insurance number"

CA has policies for Revenue Canada...no they wont ask for social insurance number but yes drivers license or so
