New User Account

I bought the stealth book. My question is that my IP Address changes each time I login. When I create user accounts I m expected to track each IP address? Couldn't I end up logging hundreds addresses?

I have an excel spread sheet with several THOUSAND IP addresses.

It is a must.

Ok thanks :)

Yes I do this, I have a spreadsheet on google docs, and use this to record everything about the account creation, name, address, sec questions, ip address.. etc

I put up an excel sheet here last year that i made. It auto checks ips across all your accounts in less than 1 second. It also gives you an alert when you haven't logged into an account for a specified number of days (good for sleeper accounts).

How do you mean auto check, is that some sort of function in excel? I usually just control-F on the spread sheet

Mr Invisible,

Can you point me to its location?!
;-)

Thanks!

On mine I just hit the sort and it sorts them all in rows for me t check for any duplicates. In and out in no time.

How do you check across different user accounts? When i create an excel file it's only for that one user account, it doesn't transfer to the others. Do you just use a usb stick with that file on it then?

rsot 01-16-2013 01:51 AM

USB Stick works well.

If excel is complicated, just use graph paper or notepad.

Toolman wants to hear of your advice regarding the USB.

He's not interested in 'works well' or your graph paper.

Tell him the USB a le rost way of stealthing

if it exists

rsot 01-16-2013 01:56 PM

Toolman understands about putting it on a usb stick and accessing each time with different account.

eB wont track your excel sheet - that is a .xls file and wont cause linking - stays on your desktop.

Manual use of graph paper helps for defining columns and rows etc ...if excel is not going to be used.

GreenBean 01-16-2013 05:17 PM

^^^ Dont assume Toolman does.

Explain so he can how to use or not use the USB 'stick'

Half baked explanation tbf.

:tears:

rsot 01-16-2013 11:52 PM

Whats there to explain? You save the excel file to the usb stick and open each time you need on the desktop.

Half a$$ed more like it. :thumb:
