Exclamation Sending funds to suppliers...

Hi all,

I am going to create a 'buying' PayPal without attaching to an eBay account to make purchases direct from my credit card to my supplier in China.

I need to know from your experiences whether PayPal will start holding funds and causing problems if I am ONLY buying stock from the attached CC?

Any advice is appreciated .

Thanks

paypal holds funds for whatever transaction it wants. This includes off ebay too.

Can you not use an escrow service with credit card instead of Paypal? Most of the Chinese suppliers have some presence on aliexpress or dhgate.

When Chinese suppliers are involved Paypal always causes problems somewhere along the line.

ESCROW services - apart from aliexpress and dhgate, what other escrow services are around? Never had any experience with anything other than aliexpress etc.

Yes, have had problems in the past when I first started 'eBaying', with buying and selling on the same one which was years ago now.

Anyone else able to enlighten me.

Usually send my money from a debit account via T/T as have dealt with them many times before.

However, want to order more stock and pay via CC.... they are not on Alibaba / DHGate so cannot use escrow.

They do accept PayPal / T/T / Moneygram / Western Union.

- Cannot send funds direct from CC
- Dont want to add to a PayPal as they will hold the money eventually
- T/T - is possible but would like to purchase stock from a CC
- Moneygram / WU - can I go and send the money then pay via CC?

Any other help is appreciated.

Can send funds from my CC to my debit account however they charge 2.9% + interest daily which isn't ideal.

Thanks

Can you pay directly with your cc? More protection.

PP can limit accounts for purchasing big stock from China

If you wanted to use pp then you could , make sure there is no funds in PP and bank account to cover the transaction, so when you try and pay , pp will take funds from card,

you can ask supplier for PP invoice and pay by c card that way.

Failng that, you could ask them to open a skrill or google checkout and pay by card there.

the first option, you could still get limited, i have never been limited for sending money to china from paypal, it depends on how reptible the company are in PP eyes or if you account gets in to trouble.

the second option,. im sure there is a way to pay with CC without been a PP member.

When you send money to a supplier via western union can you actually pay the funds via a CC or does it have to be cash that's handed over the counter?
