SSN and EIN interchangability

What is the interchangeability with EIN and SSN with Paypal?

SSN as a very very very last resort.

Good working accounts have had the EIN accepted.

Can be depend on the mood of paypal at time of submission.

I tried this in 2010 and tried my EIN and gave up and didn't think this was possible. I may give it a shot. Do they do credit checks still?

An EIN is essentially a SSN for your business, so you do not need to supply your actual SSN to companies. Keep in mind an EIN is another SSN for yourself. You provide that info for taxes, and you better be prepared. Do not think for a second it is blanket to hide from to avoid paying taxes.
