Do you need the same phone number for ebay and paypal?
 

I am just wondering if you need to have the same phone number for both paypal and ebay accounts?

why would you waste 2 numbers on what is technically the same account?

No. That is neither here nor there. I am asking if the phone numbers don't match does it cause issues? I am going to set up and use an ebay account for a business that wants me to sell stuff for them. They set up the PayPal as it is their bank account that is being used. They want me to set up the ebay account. I am in the same state just different town. I am using their address and name to set up the account.

Not matching up is not an issue - I have done different numbers for each. Logically though, it's a waste of a second number that can be used for different combo of accounts :)

Do you understand the chances of issues?
