eBay Listing Removed: Brand Protection Question
 

Hi everyone

I listed an iPhone box and accessories on eBay and shortly afterwards I received a eBay Listing Removed: Brand Protection email!

Apparently, certain branded items are not allowed on eBay without their accompanying product. However, I have seen many being sold on eBay everyday!

Would it be safe to relist this again without listing the brand name and under a different category??

Any advice would be appreciated.

APPLE are having a late Christmas season downunder it appears. I'm hearing of apple items being pulled on a daily basis. ( Par for the course with takedowns. This too should pass ;)).

As for those other souls listing the same, try not to get too hung up over them. The ban axe will hit their accounts too.

So is it OK to list on Gumtree? I know they are owned by eBay...

With gumtree you can be more 'liberal' with your descriptions

You cannot relist without getting clearance from eB. Think of other ways of selling it...including a different account if you can risk it but you WILL need to trial/error.
