On the search for more $ $ $

So I love tech accessories and was doing some research on future products. I stumbled across some really awesome products that were using the website indiegogo.com to campaign and raise money to find their product and it's development. After researching more products that were similar I found that the campaigns were offering special "early bird pricing" for preorders and they were mostly about 50% off of the expected retail price. My research ended there since it was late and I have been too busy to continue today so
I figure I would share the idea with you guys. To me it looks as if it could be a good source for products that haven't hit the market yet, at a cheap price.

These crowd funding sites are getting very popular. It's worth looking in to.

The only issue you run into is if the funding become available is for them to get the manufacturing in bulk lined up.

I have read about these for a number of years and some run into not finding a manufacture for the products or if they manufacture themselves they did not get enough funding to keep it going.

Awesome work Hazy.

Certainly nice of you to share.

Sure no problem, just trying to give back. Have you ever followed a campaign from beginning to end?

I know of a lot of people who have gotten funding from these sites. Normally less than $500 USD.

They were writing books, ebooks, very small start up home based companies.

Don't know of anyone who did a Product.

I dont know much about crowdfunding, I am aware that a lot of them cant find a manufacture after.

What happens to all the money raised then?

I followed many and everyone I watched failed due to not raising enough money, did not do the research of a product cost from start to finish and failed or could not find a manufacture to get the product out in enough numbers to do any good.

Appears to be a lot of failed research projects.
