Creating my first Stealth ebay and Payal today.

Ok so.....I got my dongle today so I am all ready to create my first stealth account. ( I would rather use that seperate from my router)

I have read the Stealth book already but will use it to teach me step by step what I need to do but before I start, I just wanted to see if there are any tips/advice with creating it since the book was last updated??

thanks in advance for any help.

Nice going :thumb:
A new windows user account for a start :p

And make sure you keep track of all your ip's when logging on/off each user account.

Then the rest is pretty straight forward.

Is there a tactic to using a false name and address? If you are using a real address that you have found off google maps for instance then what if they already have an ebay account themselves, wont that matter?

rsot 01-28-2013 01:35 PM

Bunneh is right.

No big failures on the guide - pretty straight forward.

Dont use relative and friend info is another important point.

Try to have access to the address if possible.
lots of mail box type companies around just google your area.
Makes life so much easier if ebay want to send a letter to raise limits and returns are easier.
If you do the random address method make sure its listed on the PO database.
And then of course you have to think if its banned allready.
How to tell ? Try it .
Good luck .

Thanks for that, Ill have to think it over, the only part I am unsure of is the address part of a Stealth account, I don't want to use any friends or families address and I would rather not have the extra expense of a PO Box either, guess Ill have to think this one over. thanks for all of your advice.

rsot 01-28-2013 04:10 PM

PO Box is nice though if you going to do a lot of business.

keithy72 01-28-2013 04:24 PM

Yea It would be much easier rsot without a doubt but not much business at the minute, ive got a very long way to go yet before I get anywhere near you guys on here.

keithy72 01-28-2013 04:26 PM

So is that what most people with stealth accounts have then PO boxes?

I have seen that many people have double figure stealth account, so does that mean they have double figure mail boxes also?

What PO Boxes do you use in the UK then?

I guess since you recommend them, you've experience of them.

Depends what you renting ;)

You can get P.O Boxes. Suites etc..

I used to rent a room in London from a share house that was pretty cheap
and then just go there to check my mail.
Although i did store some of my stuff in there which was pretty handy to :)

But you know what will work for you :)
There are some very cheap/cheaper options out there.

Dont use relative and friend information, a big no no.

Thanks doublea but it seems to be a mixed opinion thing with regards to using freinds details, even the book says the best option is to use a relatives details if they dont already have an account.

What makes you think it is a big no no can i ask?

Taxes

Break up, break down of relationship

Friend/relative changing mind & affecting your business.

The book quote is a bit passe. It's been addressed many times since. Lastest comments in this quote

Hi Bunnah, do you know of a Virtual Office or P.O.Bthat works well for the UK? Or will they all work ok?

Any to avoid completely?

Well we all started where you were at, plus or minus - take the time needed now to build and then streamline :thumb:

Help required with picking an address for a stealth account

Ok so I was going to create my first Stealth account yesterday but whilst going over everything I stumbled at the address part.

I really don't know what option is best for me, a lot of people saying dont use family or friends accounts which I can understand, but for those people with hundreds of stealth accounts, can you please tell me what you do for addresses??

I have seen posts on here with members saying that out of the 50 accounts I have etc etc...So where do you all pick the addresses from? surely you guys dont have this many mail boxes???

I understand that I should pick an address with no more than a 100 mile radius as stated in the stealth guide but do I randomly go onto google maps and pick anyones address out.

I also know that some people say use an address which you can get access to, but then surely that would have to be a friend or relative....

So my question is this....... I am not using a friend or relatives address and I want to create multiple stealth accounts so a mail box for each would cost too much, what is my best option here??

Thankyou all for taking the time to read this. x

I'm just getting started myself Keith. I am in the exact same situation that you are. I also would love to hear some more feedback.

grislybear 01-31-2013 02:59 AM

I would also really like to hear how some of our veteran members are able to have so many addresses for all their accounts. Is it really a matter of registering a separate box at your local mailbox store?
