Hi All,

Got a stealth plan to put into practice. Would be grateful for any thoughts!

1 Change IP Address
2 Delete Cookies/Flash Cookies
3 Create new windows account on PC
4 Create new email address
5. New address ( I have recently moved house so will use my new address-
6. New phone number (As above I now have a new house phone number)

Above points are “easy” and straightforward

My main question is what name should I use? I don’t have access to any other “real” peoples ID so that is out the question so I have two options:

Misspell my own name or perhaps use my middle/surname
Use a stealth name & stealth ID Documents If requested


Paypal

I have a new bank account to use which is an online business account. I haven’t opened this yet and believe I can open it in any business name

The above account comes with a debit card/mastercard which I can use to verify the account. If needed I will open a VCC etc.

eBay

Once Paypal account is verified I will open a new eBay account using new house/phone/name etc. I can verify this by the address pin if requested.

So my only concern (I think) is ID verification. Do I just supply documents when asked

I don’t want to “burn” my new address/phone etc with just a name verification (Dick instead of Richard etc)

Personally I use ⊗⊗⊗⊗namegenerator for the names, and haven't had any problems.

I don't see the point of using a misspelled name, as that is just another way that you could get linked.

This plan isn't stealth! I DO NOT believe just because you have moved to a new address that you should use that address. If this ISNT rented accomodation all the deeds etc. will be registered to you / parents. This could in turn bring problems. Think about virtual address / mailboxes.

1. New windows account
2. New IP - make sure you use an excel document to record IP addresses. Plenty of posts on the forum with people having uploaded templates
3. New email address - gmail etc. make sure you turn off display external content. (Think outside the box, eBay would prefer to see a legitimate business with a website AND web email address e.g. jerhgene@companyname.co.uk)
4. Name generator can be OK however variations may go down better when making withdrawals to banks. I personally use any random male name however it is advised that variations are better.
5. yes you will need documents to hand, PM GreenBean should you need help.
6. Make sure you have a working phone number - SOHO66 can be good for this.
7. Create the PayPal as a BUSINESS if this is what you are going to be.
8. Entropay or a VCC from sellers in the sales section is good.


Cant think of anything else. However, this should get you going.

can i ask why ?

you can keep your new address just for a buying account.

Or if you register with your new address and variation of name, and you kept the account steady, it is still an option for a selling acc. A business at your new address is also an option.

You can also make another or few stealth accs.

Moving is a positive thing re stealth, stealth doesnt just mean one thing...if you know the risks of using your new address, it can be utilised for your benefit if you choose to.

stealth is mixing methods to suit you. Foremost not relying on just one account but having back-up.

Your plan :
no 2 deleting cookies is not required because of your no3
no 3 new user account - will have no cookies anyway but use this for your new account and let the cookies build up .
Ebay likes to see cookies and it makes logging in much easier .
But do not log into any other account from this user account or ip .
Mispelling names is no different to full blown stealth names .
If the ID offered does not match exactly it will be rejected so you are gaining little by playing with your name both measures require you to become creative.
As oomp stated DO NOT RELY ON ONE ACCOUNT .

I personally have found if you are a business act like one and don't be a premier account and don't do other things like use gmail email addresses.

There is merit in what you say but that would depend on your business model.

Many sole traders out there running very successful businesses with premier accounts and gmail addresses and not all of them are stealthers.

The cap has to fit the head.

The big advantage for a Business PP is the fact buyers don't see a personal name, rather a business name.

business dba works really well with P.O. Boxes.

Yes play around with it a bit.

You should look up something called VMWARE, I am probably going to be writing a video tutorial on this answer some questions and stuff.

Why would the OP need VMWare in this scenario?
