| kelviiv | 01-31-2013 03:43 PM | Calling and calling MC999 So I've aged the account for about 3 months...posted a nintendo ds game for sale and received a MC999 the day right before it would end (7day listing)
I decided to call ebay using the phone/phone number linked to the account.
1st attempt - rep told me listing was flagged due to new seller and asked me to verify my identity using public records but nothing was found. so asked me to fax in an ID. i said sure ok and hung up
2nd attempt - rep said the same thing and tried to run public records again but nothing was found
3rd - same exact thing..public records and nothing was found and asked to fax in some sort of ID
has anyone in the US been able to get away with just verifying personal information such as address/number/etc? without having to have the rep having to access public data? I currently have a few accounts running and they are all in good standing which are about 5 months old. I'm not worried about the ID thing as that should be an easy fix but it is a hassle if this was to happen to every account created in the future.. |
