Default Using an old pay pal account

Hi all

I have an old pay pal account linked to a suspended eBay account. From your experiences is it OK to use this account to make payment for a stealth buying account.

Please note: I don't link this account via eBay and pay pal. These are separate. I ask for the sellers pay pal account and send payment directly.

Is this safe to do?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Cheers.

If I am understanding correctly.

You want to purchase something on ebay and pay with your pay pal account that was linked to a suspended account?

I think this was addressed in one of your other posts.

Forget about the old pay pal account and open up another one. If you have money in it, then get it out and forget about it.

The only reason I use it is because of an address i get products posted to as well as having my credit card linked to that pp account.

Is there anything wrong with making a direct payment to an ebay seller via pay pal using this pp account? Nothing is linked through eBay and I don't make payments via pp through e bay.

If the pp is ok to use, use it for other purposes - dont really recommend eB because it can go down at any time

I know what you are saying but I don't link it via eBay. I just ask the seller for their pay pal email then make direct payment that way. That way there is no linking.

But you made the sale on eB right? A link will be generated if pp agent has a look.

Again, I am not saying this is 100% fail but chances are you could get into problems.

Worth trying though if you wish

Pay attention to what rsot said.

This paypal account is flagged because it was associated with a suspended ebay.

When a transaction from it 'hits' ebay for another account, flags get raised.

You then have the chance of trouble.

May be an issue for the seller & yourself.

Its only for purchases not sales. pp and eb are separate though.

I have already tried this, but am thinking twice about doing it again...
