 Can You Get Ebay BUYER Protection Cases Removed?
I had a buyer win an auction in December. He paid and I was never able to create a shipping label via paypal/ebay shipping OR USPS click and ship. The address was invalid.
I sent the buyer a few messages and he never replied. I then filed with ebay to cancel the transaction. He did not respond to that either. So after the 7 day wait, I closed it out and the transaction was cancelled. I kept trying to contact him to see if he wanted to provide a valid address or get a refund. He still did not respond.
Two weeks later he opens an ebay case for item not received. He stated in the case that he was in the wrong and that the transaction was cancelled because he didn't reply, etc. And I issued him a refund on the spot. Ebay left the case open because he was supposed to respond to it and confirm that the refund was sent.
It shows up in the ebay case that the refund was issued that day. Case closed just now automatically because the max time was reached.
So my question is...is there a way to get this case removed? I am now "at risk" for TRS this month because of that case. Buyer admitted fault for not responding to me and the cancellation request and it shows that I issued the refund immediately once the case opened. Am I stuck with being dinged on it?
