Default Anyone used MYEIN.COM?

They offer EIN numbers for $19.99. Sure beats having to pay $250 for an LLC and EIN. Thoughts?

EIN's are free, and takes less than 10 minutes to get one.

This is great! I wonder how much it cost to get an LLC in Nevada if you do it yourself?

Kelly I can tell by your posts that you are playing with fire. Go seek professional tax help before you regret trying to save $1 here and $1 there

Certainly everyone here who is running multiple Stealth accounts isn't paying $300 a pop for LLCs and EINs.

EIN's are free when you file on the IRS website. I don't know why anyone would pay for one.

You are registering a corp in a certain state because of a 'tax break' but you don't understand there is a lot more to the situation than the obvious. There is a reason for professionals and avoiding them because of something you read on the internet isn't very wise and usually doesn't end well. I may not seem to be talking nicely but its nothing more than friendly advice. Do with it what you will

Default RE: www.MYEIN.com

I am not going to tell what to do and what not to do, but I will tell you the facts regarding a recent thread on the website myein.com. I have not registered through this website, so I do not know the process, but personally I WOULD NOT provide them any information at all for many reasons.

1. You are providing them with your most sensitive information possible, and they have NOTHING to do with the IRS or any government site. Read the fine print at the bottom of their page...."MyEIN.com is not affiliated with the U.S. Government, IRS, or any state agency. MyEIN.com offers a paid service to obtain Federal Tax ID Numbers from the IRS in a convenient and timely manner. EINs can be obtained at no cost from the IRS website. "

2. Everything you provide them, you would have to provide to the IRS.gov website, and you will not be charged, and you will get your EIN in the same time if not faster. Once you provide your info to the IRS they send you your new EIN immediately to your email.

3. They are simply trying to take advantage of people who do not know exactly how to apply and go through the process. They are simply using CEO techniques to make people who are searching for an EIN come to them because of the convenience, advertising, and desperate of obtaining an EIN. Not going to lie, this is a great business plan on whoever thought of this, if it is even legal, but everything they provide you can get from the IRS.gov and in a secure form. This is like buying a soda form a gas station, because it is convenient and known for small purchases, even though everyone know you should buy it from a grocery store in bulk to get the best deal.

I think that the OP needs to Sloooooo Down a bit,,it seems that he Believes that he needs an LLc or some type of corporation in order to get an EIN and/or Pay your taxes properly,,,this is ABSOLUTLY NOT the Case, you CAN get an EIN For free, WITHOUT having to form some kind of Corporation, and Pay your Taxes, it is COMPLETELY Legal, and you CAN use the EIN for Paypal,,don't get your Drawers all tied up into a Knot, cause it will hurt,,,take the advice given to you here on this thread, find someone who KNOWS, have a seat with them, take a deep breath, a cup of coffee and have them explain to you how it all works,,,,,,,,,

Good luck,,,,,Something tells me that you are going to need it,,,,

The op wants an EIN and new company to make a quick, legit amazon account. (if you look at the other posts/threads)

Registering in Nevada or Delaware makes no advantage over any other state, other than privacy purposes. (which are broken with a court order) (and minus any tax or law advantage)

If you don't live in Nevada, you'll need an address there, and a registered agent. There are other things to consider as well. For example, off the top of my head, in New York, you have to place an ad in the paper advertising the start of your new business.

And, just because you live in whatever other state, doesn't mean you're under Nevada tax jurisdiction. You pay the taxes wherever you do business, which is not always the corporate HQ.

You need to register with a company like incorporate, or legal zoom, that is backed by lawyers. Don't pay the 75 dollars for the EIN, it's free on irs dot gov.

I agree, you do need to slow down. You're trying to find quick solutions to a complicated issue, and you're not going to get your desired results.

there is a simple solution here.

Ya'll have heard it before. The OP can join the happy band of users who take professional tax advice and not rely on a forum not geared to give it.

Start with this site:

Internal Revenue Service

user friendly. Has a toll free number. Check that out.
We have done our bit by pointing you in the right direction.
Thanks.
