US Account but shipping from China.
 

Firstly let me say an excellent book which I thoroughly enjoyed reading.

Currently I have an account in Singapore and I ship all my sales from China which works very well and I do mark the item location as China.

I am interested in setting up, well buying a US account and then still shipping the items from China.

Will this cause as issue with eBay?

You'll need a USA ip address.

Then, the only issues I could see are with the IP, and shipping delays. And maybe withdrawal from paypal.

It certainly isn't a problem doing this in Singapore, just not sure about the US.

As long as the items you're selling as well known brands, you should be fine. If you start selling a high volume though don't be surprised if eBay/PayPal ask you for invoices on where you're getting the items. If they ask you, the last thing you want to say is drop-shipping. They absolutely DETEST drop-shipping (which is essentially what you're doing).

Some buyers WILL be angry about receiving items from China if you are stating that the item is coming from US address. Keep that in mind...

Absolutely agree Rsot, I plan to list these as located and shipped from China.

Ah ok - as you are clear on shipping origin - good. US IP with US registered address - follow stealth method - should be good
