Default Paypal Fluke - They restored one of my accounts

Really weird.

I had a bunch of accounts linked and limited and I am going through and messaging on each account. All I tell them is basically: "close my account, I refuse to send you any documents after you've destroyed by business reputation. . .your customer service is horrible, you keep me on hold for 30 minutes. . .you don't answer my messages. . .go to hell"

In a nutshell, I alway's write something like that, just so I get the 180 day email and can rest at ease.

This was an account where they asked for ID, Confirm identity, Supplier info, and invoices.

Today I got this from one of the accounts that got hit, and I'm scratching my head, they must have hit the wrong keystroke :

WTF is up with this world? You act like you don't care for their services and they beg you to take it back!

But when you beg them to turn it back on, they limit you, lock your account down, make you wait 180 days.

I think they let you back in so you don't complain or tell anyone that ebay put you out! others would get scared to hear this and not risk it with ebay.

But ebay is so f'ed up! You sell a cup, bam limited account, you log on to paypal at 3 a.m. bam limited account. I mean scammers, they have like unlimited accounts, selling high risk items, not shipping it, having 3,000 auctions, 4% positive feedback 96% negative with a total of 5000 feedback remember 4% positive! All feedback reading "Fraud""didn't get it" "does not ship" "does not reply to emails" yet this guy, he keeps on going! And they reply to all the negative feedbacks saying "oh sorry don't know what happened, will call post office to see why tracking is not working" You and I? Well we just made a new account and because someone lived here 5,000 yrs ago it's limited! Thanks a lot Fred Flintstone!

Just do not allow any money to build up in the account.

Do not trust them.

Not really. . .They linked me and had a manual review after me last month and got about 30 of my accounts, so I got lucky with just 1.

What was lucky, is that they did not get my other accounts.

I'm embarrassed to say how much money I have to wait 180 days to get, but for me, that's just part of the game. You win some, you lose some, but in the end, I'm still going strong.

Less than $50K, but not by much. Basically my Holiday sales profit.

Normally I would be frantic, but we're trying to buy a house next year and this money will be part of the down payment, so basically the interest loss it is negligible. As long as they release the funds in 180 days, its really no biggie, in fact it could be a blessing in disguise. The ebay fees on those 30+ accounts was several thousand dollars, so basically they screwed themselves. The interest they will generate on that money will not make up for the loss fees.

Also in fairness, the dollar amount could have been $15k less, but I chose to fulfill all pending orders out of my own pocket rather than refund and cancel.

Unlike a lot of stealth users, I do not practice the theory of emptying each account. It seems like when I do, I face more limitations then when I let the money sit for a while. I don't hardly ever get paypal limitations, but when it rains it pours.

On these accounts in particular I know exactly why and how they were linked, and I can easily avoid that problem in the future. It's not the end of the world, I currently have 50 accounts selling close to the maximum selling threshold each month, with other accounts in reserve.

Gift payments sent to my Chinese supplier.

Paypal hit their account hard. Over the course of 8 hours, they went through and limited every paypal account that had sent them payments over the last 60 days.

For me it happened to be about 30 of my accounts, and who knows how many other domestic re-sellers. I alway's knew it was a bad idea to send payments to the same address, making it very easy to link me, but the convenance of sending payment by paypal was just too much to pass up.

My solution now is western union, which I hate, but really have no choice for future safety.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Okay everybody copy and paste his message every time you have problems with your account!

Just for future reference. Did they give you a higher limit and give you TRS + CEO's phone numbers in case you need to call in the middle of the night?
