Yahoo Voice : eBay Phone Verification - Passed
 

Having a lot of problems with the phone verification because of my country I searched for a viable alternative and I found it.With 2,99 $ /month you can get a number from US,UK or France from Yahoo Voice .The funny thing about YV is that you DON'T NEED TO HAVE A PHONE TO FORWARD your calls :). The number redirect all the calls to your yahoo messenger( ver 8.1 or above ) and you answer directly from messenger.
The program has a dialpad and you can press whatever Ebay tells you to press before it tells you the #pin number.That's it :cool:

nice, but does it work for paypal? paypal tries to match your number to your address.

To match the number with the address they need to have access to the phone company information.Nobody will give them that info...or am I wrong?

Not 100% correct, I have verified with anonymous phone numbers.

I route my external number to yahoo voice. Routing it to my cell doesnt work anymore and i dont have landline. Yahoo voice should start offering canadian numbers. Now that would be awesome.
