Creating a seller account with no card...
 

Hi guys,

On one of my new stealths, I want to create a eB selling account, but the PP linked, does not have a VCC attached to it. The PP is bank verified, just has no VCC attached as of yet. I normally always attach a VCC, and confirm it, but that often takes a week or so, and I wish to list on this account today.

If I choose to pay my fee's via the bank (Direct Debit), will I be able to sell today?

And when I do have the VCC link and confirmed on PP, can I change the way I pay my eB fee's to PP (with the VCC attached/confirmed), without issues?

Since your pp is verified, you can go that through by attaching the PP to eB when you attempt to sell.

When you do add the VCC, you can go on eB and change the form of payment with ease - in fact, start doing One time payment of fees with that VCC to avoid any possibility of eB reaching into your pp account

Its very interesting recently because usually when you create a seller account and link it back to the PP they ask you to choose how you are going to pay your fees.... at this point ask you to add a CC.

A couple of newly created accounts havent been doing that - which is strange unless its just me?

why does it take a week to add a card ?

I normally buy my VCC's from sellers on here, and the process is not quick, as I to have contact them, send payment, wait payment confirmation, wait for VCC to arrive (can take up to 48 hours), then wait for the codes to arrive on the VCC, then wait for the seller to send the codes over.

So I can't start selling by agreeing to pay my fee's by Direct Debit via bank, and then cancel that once I have a VCC to attach to my PP?

You can. There is nothing stopping you.
